Foam Production & Custom Cut Foam Manufacturing in Australia
Polyurethane Foam Manufacturing
We manufacture flexible polyurethane foam in a range of densities and firmness levels to suit:
- Upholstery and seating applications
- Bedding and mattress cores
- Caravan and RV mattresses
- Marine cushions and sleeping systems
- Acoustic and speciality projects
All foam is produced under controlled conditions to ensure consistent cell structure, resilience and compression performance.
Local production allows us to monitor raw material inputs and maintain precise density specifications for predictable performance outcomes.
The Process
Our foam production process is designed to deliver consistent material performance, accurate specifications and efficient turnaround times.
Process Overview:
- Raw material formulation and foam pouring
- Controlled curing and stabilisation
- Density and firmness verification
- CNC cutting and custom profiling
- Final inspection and dispatch preparation
Environmental Responsibility in Foam Production
At Natritex Group, environmentally responsible foam manufacturing isn’t an afterthought — it’s a core commitment.
From the very beginning, Enviro-Foam pioneered cleaner foam production in Australia by eliminating harmful chemicals traditionally used in polyurethane foam manufacture. In fact, Enviro-Foam was one of the first Australian factories to produce flexible polyurethane foam without fluorocarbons, setting a benchmark for reduced environmental impact.
Today, all foam we manufacture is produced using advanced technologies like Active Seal™ and Super Mix, which have been proven to deliver virtually no emissions during manufacture — making Natritex Group one of the most environmentally friendly foam and mattress manufacturers in the country.
We manufacture all foam locally at our Queensland facility using world-best practices that avoid:
- Solvents
- Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs)
- Methylene chloride
- Added carbon dioxide
- Fillers or extenders
By avoiding these substances, our production process supports cleaner air quality, safer workplaces and a reduced environmental footprint compared with conventional foam manufacturing.
This local, low-emission approach also means less reliance on extended import supply chains and lower transport-related emissions — supporting both environmental outcomes and consistent product quality.
